Person-Centered Support
We specialize in serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and creating person-centered programs that combine personal choice and community integration with professional oversight, family involvement and stability.
Day Services
Our engaging Day Programs provide structured activity and enrichment for adults with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to assist the individuals we serve in reaching their full potential by creating opportunities to grow and be an active part of community life.
Our modern locations are designed to support a wide range of needs, skills and abilities, with engaging activities to help participants reach their goals, find new interests and make friends.
Because Day Programs are centered around an individual’s interests, Program Specialists hold intake meetings with each individual to get to know the person’s interests, hobbies and personality. Depending on an adult’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP), he or she may take part in goal-driven classes or activities tailored to their needs, including meal preparation to dance classes to gardening, as well as in activities throughout the community, including paid and volunteer employment. Other activities may include:
- Reading
- Arts & crafts
- Computer training
- Physical fitness
- Cooking
Programs may also provide specialized training in alternative/augmentative communication, orientation/mobility, sensory development, personal safety, self-advocacy and alternative behavior strategies.
