People with Dual Diagnosis
Many people served by REM North Dakota are dual diagnosed with both intellectual disabilities and mental illness. Because each of our programs is tailored to the specific needs of those we serve, REM is able to support people with dual diagnoses.
Working with an individual’s mental health professional, REM staff work to support an individual in the areas of psychopharmacology (medication monitoring, side-affect monitoring), therapy, and other supports such as specially tailored day programming.
